Canadian iPhone users help me out here. I've read conflicting pieces on what is going on there regarding iphone tethering.
Can you tether as part of a standard data package with Rogers and/or Fido now?
Have you heard they will be charging more for tethering next year?
From what I understand they are giving it to you free now but will be charging a good amount for it next year. If that is the case it seems like a bad marketing move to give something like that away for free then jack the price up, a lot.
I can understand the desire to test the network but stil, if that is true I can imagine there will be some unhappy Canadians come next year.
Please straighten me out if I'm wrong.

We do currently have tethering available with data plans. I was not aware that they were going to start charging for it seperately. If that happens I will not be too pleased as I use it a good bit these days. Any idea what "a lot" is for the price?
