    Default Best HTC Phone

    Hey All!

I'm going to be switching over to an Android phone soon and I'm in research mode right now. After looking around I am really drawn to the HTC devices. I'm flexible with my carrier and would like some feedback on what you all feel is the best HTC phone on the market.

Right now I'm most interested in the Sensaton 4G and the Thunderbolt but I'm wide open for suggestions opinions.
Thanks in advance for any help. This process is a bit overwhelming considering I'm probably going to be locked in for the next 2 years.

    Great topic for debate Mark.

I personally don't own an HTC phone but I have put my hands on each of these models in addition to most others on the market. I think your top 2 picks are as good as any right now. The question for you probably comes down to what is most important for you.

The sensation has a very slight edge on the specs but you get Verizon's 4G LTE with the Thunderbolt which is easily the faster network right now.

I haven't shopped around in the past month or so but I love my Incredible 2. About the only thing it doesn't have is 4G.

Yep, the Incredible 2 is a nice phone. I mentioned the Thunderbolt as it is basically the same phone except the Thunderbolt is 4G.

Since I purchased my HD2 about two months ago, I still can't find a word of reproach. Its build quality is great, the apps work fine, the task manager (Windows OS) is more than enough to immediately close running programs and save battery life. A fiend of mine suggested that I instal Froyo on it. I don't know if it would make any difference though. I'm happy with the way it performs.

If you're flexible with your OS, and open to trying Windows Phone 7, you ought to try the HTC HD7. It's a relatively economical option, with a massive screen, and all-round gorgeousness in terms of aesthetics. HTC Mozart is a cousin of the HD7, albeit with a smaller screen and a better camera.
Coming to Android, the Evo 4G may not be the youngest member of the HTC family, but it surely punches above its weight a full year after its launch. It famously introduced Mobile Hotspots, which work flawlessly. The Desire HD and Desire Z are also extremely versatile Android phones, which have features that cater to a wide range of users. For instance, the Desire Z has a full and spacious QWERTY keyboard, if typing on a touchscreen isn't meant for you.
