About LinkBacksThis phone is the flat out bomb! I want one more than anything right now. In fact the only thing stopping me is network concerns. I've heard conflicting reports regarding whether an unlocked Hero will operate on the AT&T 3G network in the the US. I've heard yes and no but don't want to make a move unless I'm sure. Any of you running with one of these?

I can't offer a first hand confirmation 3G but from my understanding it does work on the AT&T 3G network. Please let me know if you get one or find out differently.

Seen it before and it works okay. Just don't order when you want to get one. But at the store personally so that you can check it out first.

I want to play a windows media file on my hero!
Hi all,
I want to play a windows media file on my new HTC hero handset, but I have got as far as transfering the file onto the handset SD memory card, but it doesn't show up or play anywhere! can anyone help me?

is the file you are trying to play on your HTC supported? What is its format?
