Unlocking Pre-Paid Phones

Is there a way to unlock pre-paid phones? I'm interested in any phone or carrier. Just want to know if it is possible. thx

Well the question is quite broad but in general the answer is, Yes.

There are services out there that can get you an unlock code for just about any prepaid phone but many carriers will give you an unlock code after you've been a subscriber for a certain period of time, normally 90 days, after they've recooped their phone cost and made some profit.

My iPhone 4 was originally from UK and I was not able to use it for couple of months until my friend suggested me to have it unlocked through www.unlock-network.com. Thanks a lot viRginiA, I got my unlock code from them very quick and successfully unlocked my HTC. I'll use that site again for unlocking my future mobile phones. Thanks again!
