1. crop mp3 with a program (such as Audacity, can get it from Downloads.com) and save it...this shrinks it to a smaller size
2. put the mp3 in your My Sounds folder on your microsSD card
3. send a Picture Message to yourself with that mp3 attached
4. open the Picture Message...click Options...then Save As Ringtone

I'm not sure about the method above but I do recall moving some files on my wife's Razr a while back which is basically what you need to do.
You can do this easily with a bluetooth or usb transfer. From there just save the file in your audio file and select it as your ringtone.

Hello
Wow, I love these midi tones. Nice tips of midi tones. Apple iPhone does not recognize midi format line for use as a ringtone. Therefore, to use to create songs Midi ringtone, you need to convert songs in mp3 format Midi Song and then back to use iTunes ringtone software. You can do this easily with a bluetooth.
Midi song format is not recognized by iPhone so it is necessary to convert the Midi files to mp3 files. This can be easily done by using an mp3 recorder or creator software application.Thanks.

Most phone users prefer to get mp3 songs as they are available everywhere and they also have a high quality bitrate
I think midi songs were prefered during the introduction of first CDMA phones
I mean those who were using old phones such as Nokia 3315, Nokia 1100, etc
