Samsung messanger cannot hear anyone nor can they hear me?

Hi I bought a samsung messanger R450 cell phone about a year ago.
The phone works However not sure if I hit a button or disable some sound features by mistake but when I call people or people call me I hear nothing. I can see them calling I can call them but I hear nothing.


I already did the following troubleshooting:
1) Hit the pound button to make sure it is out of silent mode (I read that on several message boards).
2) I ensured all my volume settings are set to high
3) I can play ring tones so I know that my speaker is not defective. I also get a noise when people text me.
4) I already reseated the sim card and pulled out the battery as well.


Help anyone?

I think u check ur mobile in shop,or u search on google. . .

I think it's a hardware problem but I'm not sure about it though However I recommend you to read the phone's user guide first as you might leave out any setting associates with your problem
